Piper Palm House

4256 Magnolia Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110 - CAPACITY: 150-200 seated

Have your wedding or private event in the elegant, tropical conservatory located in the heart of Tower Grove Park. Constructed in 1878 by noted architect George I. Barnett, the Piper Palm House is the oldest standing greenhouse west of the Mississippi River and the most historically significant building in the Park.

The conservatory houses a wide collection of lush, exotic botanicals and sits on an open-air plaza that overlooks the historic lily ponds. With its distinctive architecture, including stained glass windows, soaring ceiling, and towering palm trees, this space is perfect for indoor or outdoor ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, receptions, and all special and corporate events.

Comparable to the Linnean House at the Missouri Botanical Garden, the Kensington Orangery in London or the Pavilion du Lac at Parc Buttes-Chaumont in Paris, the Piper Palm House provides light, history and romance unlike any in the region.
